Avy and VTT partnership takes flight

Avy and VTT (Technical Research Centre of Finland) are officially taking their relationship to the next level. After a long history of working together, VTT has now integrated the latest Avy aircraft into their fleet.

The Best of Both Worlds
VTT is no stranger to our technology. Their team has been training on and flying our earlier aircraft for already some years, but this latest acquisition puts one of the most advanced VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) technology directly into their hands.

Why is this such a big deal? Because the Finnish climate doesn't play nice. By adding our latest systems to their fleet, VTT now operates one of the most robust, all-weather VTOL-Fixed Wing aircraft on the market. It’s a drone built to handle the tough, unpredictable conditions that are simply a part of life in the North.

Innovation Through Extreme Testing
This isn't just a supplier-purchaser relation; it’s a deep-rooted R&D partnership. VTT will be conducting specialized testing for Avy at their dedicated drone facilities.To be honest, we couldn't think of a better "stress test" than a Finnish winter. The lessons we are learning from VTT’s operations in sub-zero temperatures and harsh conditions are vital. Their feedback helps us to push our technology even further, ensuring Avy systems are reliable in the most demanding environments on Earth.

What’s Next for Finland?
VTT will be using these aircraft for internal research, tests, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and live demonstrations for Finnish organizations. This partnership is a major step toward our goal of expanding across Finland and supporting mission-critical services, including:

• Medical Logistics: Working with the Finnish Red Cross for rapid medical deliveries.

• National Defense: Supporting the development of the "Drone Wall."

• First Responders: Providing the Finnish Police and Fire Departments with "Drone-in-a-Box" solutions for immediate emergency response.
