Avy Participates in NATO Maritime Exercise REPMUS

Recently, Avy took part in REPMUS, a large scale international NATO exercise dedicated to maritime unmanned systems. Our participation followed an invitation from the Royal Netherlands Navy within the framework of the SDIR program.

During the exercise week, our team executed a range of flight operations designed to demonstrate performance and reliability in demanding maritime conditions. We conducted extended offshore flights, completed a long beyond visual line of sight mission covering 22 kilometers out and back, and successfully operated in wind conditions reaching 22 knots. These circumstances proved challenging, and several other systems were unable to fly during the same periods.

Beyond the technical results, REPMUS offered valuable insight into how complex maritime missions are planned and coordinated. Working closely with the Royal Netherlands Navy and our SDIR partners allowed us to better understand operational requirements and integrate our capabilities into a broader naval context.

The experience will directly support the continued development of our system for maritime environments. We are already applying the lessons learned and look forward to sharing new results in the near future.
