A new Aera has begun! We have redesigned the state-of-the-art Avy Aera in-house, significantly increasing its payload capacity, operational reliability and flight endurance.
It's a whole new Aera
Key to the aircraft's improvements were the aerodynamic development, composite design of the airframe, and an upgraded propulsion system, resulting in a more weather resistant and efficient aircraft. In-house avionics have led to further improvements in integration, efficiency and redundancy.
A new Aera of aviation
The New Aera has improved payload capacity, operability and reliability. New paint coatings further improve its durability and protection against wind, rain, hail and UV radiation.
The Aera's improvement
The complete redesign of the Avy Aera has resulted in a larger operational window and increased wind resistance of approximately 25 knots and rain of 3 mm/hr.
Loads more payloads
The New Aera can lift heavier payloads and bigger volumes. Special attention has been given to sensitive medical cargo with strict cold-chain requirements. It is also equipped with a high zoom RGB and thermal camera system.
The lightweight properties of our redesigned aircraft also significantly improve its range, with flight distances up to 100 kilometres beyond sight at speeds up to 90 km/h.
By advancing controllability, connectivity and redundancy of flight critical systems and communication links, our reliability is improved even further for increasingly complex operations.
