Emergency Response

Everybody knows the mantra: ‘In case of an emergency, stay calm.’ For first responders we might add ‘stay calculated.’ As life-threatening fires and traffic accidents progress, it is vital that firefighters and other emergency personnel know how to best respond. That’s where we come in: we fly over.

Avy dock drone station for Drone Response Network

The Avy Dock

Autonomous flight is faster when the takeoff is autonomous too. Our climate-controlled and waterproof station charges the Avy Aera and positions the drone into the wind for secure take off. If necessary, human operators can remotely oversee and control the launch.

Early wildfire detection

In collaboration with the Dutch fire brigade, Avy is developing an aerial response network in three security regions to recognize wildfires at the earliest possible stage.

In this use case, the Avy Dock is an essential asset for Aera’s autonomous takeoff and landing, enabling the command centre to perform routine inspections, effortlessly.
